INDO-JAPANES SYMPOSIUM On "Fostering Soft Skills for Achieving Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs): Bridging the Human and Technology Elements" It took place at Panjab University (Chandigarh, India) on 8 December 2023 in a hybrid format of in-person and online. This symposium focused on the coordination of the humanities and technological progress, and integrated the humanities and sciences were presented. In the morning, YNU presented a total of 5 presentations, 2 on-site and 3 online, and in the afternoon, 36 research presentations by researchers from local universities and companies, panel discussions, and poster sessions by students were held. A lively discussion was held by researchers with different specialties, and the importance of cross-disciplinary efforts to address complex social problems was confirmed.
