Anna University and YNU jointly organized the "INDO-JAPAN TRAINING PROGRAM ON RESEARCH COLLABORATION" symposium on December 12, 2023, at Anna University (Chennai, India). The symposium, conducted in collaboration with the Society of Chemical Engineers, Japan and IIChE, aimed to promote research exchange in the field of chemical engineering between Japan and India. Research presentations by participants were delivered to introduce their work. Approximately 100 attendees gathered at the venue, where researchers from four Japanese universities, including 2 from YNU, presented their studies, fostering vibrant discussions. Additionally, 3 students from YNU participated as audience members. As a related event, a visit to the IIT-Madras Research Park was organized. On the following day, a delegation from Japan, comprising 3 faculty members and 3 students from YNU, visited Dr. R. Velraj, the Vice Chancellor of Anna University, paying a courtesy call. The visit included the "INDO-JAPAN COLLABORATION MEET," during which discussions were held to enhance the exchange between universities. Opinions were exchanged to further stimulate the interaction between academic institutions.
