India is a country with great potential with the world's largest population in 2030 and expected to become the world's largest economic superpower in 2050. On the other hand, sustainable growth based on the SDGs is required for this India’s growth and there is no doubt that Japan will become an even more important partner than ever before. For the achieving SDGs, global and practical engineers and researchers, who can lead the next generation, are indispensable.
The aim of IJEP-Y (India-Japan International and Practical Engineers and Researcher Education Program with Industry-Government-Academia Network in Yokohama) is the development of the educational platform for leaders of next generation via exchange activities with partner Universities in India with the industry-government-academia network in Yokohama.
The aim of YOKOHAMA-SXIP program is to develop SX (Sustainability Transformation) human resources who will lead the transformation to a resilient society and create a sustainable future society by two-way student exchange program between YNU and partner universities. Y-SXIP program is supported by MEXT "INTER-UNIVERSITY EXCHANGE PROJECT 2022". The project title is "YOKOHAMA International Education Program for Leading Sustainability Transformation towards a Resilient Society with Industry-Government-Academia Network".
